Still around

I’m still here…sorta. I read other’s diaries, but haven’t been writing much in mine. Nothing exciting in my life, other than getting ready to move in 3 weeks. Lots of cleaning to be done. Luckily, not much packing. That job will be left for our movers. They are coming to pack up our stuff on June 16 and moving it on the 17th. Derek is going to my parents the weekend before. The dog is going to Matt’s brothers in NC. Then, we are going back home for 3 weeks. I’m nervous about moving. It’s not about going to a new town or anything…that I can handle. But, more about meeting new people all over again. I hate the “getting-to-know-you” stage. Not as if we have many friends where we are now either. Oh, well. I’ll survive. Derek is growing taller, but hasn’t gained much weight. I need to start thinking about what to get him for his birthday pretty soon.
