scared…

This morning, my dad was petting my dog and he noticed a lump on her abdomen. About an inch in diameter, a little bit below her ribcage. She now has a vet appointment for Friday.

My dog might have cancer…

Don’t jump to conclusions, Emily, it’s probably fine, and even if it is something bad the chances are good that they’ll be able to treat it….you shouldn’t worry….

I’m worried.

yeah, i’m sure she’ll be fine. I’ve found all sorts of things on my pets, and my father the doctor always either says, no that’s supposed to be there, or we go the vet who says, no that’s supposed to be there. dont worry too much

Or even if it’s not necesarily supposed to be there, doesn’t mean it’ll be cancerous. My dog had several tumours on her legs and sides that inhibited her movement as she got older, but were perfectly benign. Hope it’s all right.

RYN: now that you mention it, it may be genetic. Great–the one thing i get from my dad and it’s the dumbass disease!:-) try not to worry sweetheart, it’ll be alright **hugs**

I’m sure she’ll be okay. Vets are amazing people who do what’s always best for the animal. Keep that in mind. Thanks for your note. It’s good to hear I’m not the only girl in the world who suffers from mother problems. College is too far away… sheesh. 17 years is long enough to be living with her. She just aggrivates me so much. Why can’t she see who I’ve become? GRRRR! LoL.
