New Years Resolutions

Every year everyone tries to make New Year Resolutions. Things they want to do differently, or change about themselves. Mine? Is not giving up.

I can’t tell you if that’s really what my resolution is, but I think that’s the best I can come up with.

I have tried all this past year to loose 100 pounds before my 30th birthday. I cut out Most of the junk foods, drank more water, walked more, took better care of myself. But here I am, the same weight I was a year ago. Didn’t even loose a pound after spending the WHOLE YEAR TRYING! Sure, I’ve “cheated” a few days here and there, but over all, I live a much healthier lifestyle then I did two years ago.

Friday afternoon will start a NEW treatment. My doctor said he can help me. After watching me for a year with NO SUCCESS he can now give me something that “will help” me loose weight. In reality? 100 is just my starting point. My total goal of weight loss is (298-158=140) to loose 140 pounds. Then it’ll be fine tuning to decide if I NEED to loose more to have the body I want. If I’m happy with what’s left? I’ll just do whatever I can to stay there, if not? I’ll still do whatever I can! If that means I kill myself by running? (which is one of the things I’d actually like to TRY) then that’s what I’ll do. I want to be more active.

Right now? The extra weight holds me down. I always feel tired.

Another thing I don’t want to give up on? My photography. There are so many of us in the world, that getting started, and making a profit is difficult. Hopefully I can do it. We’ll see.

Not giving up is the best resolution I’ve ever heard.
