It’s coming

The snow, sleet, freezing rain, wind, have I mentioned them all?  Hubby just got done shoveling this morning and then out of nowhere it starts to rain.  Freezing rain and the wind was blowing so hard too.  Wow I thought every school is cancelled except for our district.  I have a feeling the kids will be home about the time I have to go to work!  They keep saying other schools (what few went today) are getting out early.  I just ran to Family Video to take back some DVD’s and the roads are actually pretty good.  I went downtown and they have the snow in the middle of the lanes so they can pick it up and load it on a truck and dump it in the river.  Kind of scarey driving with snow right there.  But there is no place to plow it other than the sidewalk and lots of people were walking so they couldn’t do that. 
I think we only got about an inch or two of snow last night.  I got up to go to the bathroom and could hear the sleet on the skylight.  I thought for sure school would be cancelled, but they don’t have anymore snow days so they will be very careful now about calling school off.  The worst part is this is probably the worst day then the other two days they called off.  Ok now it just started snowing.  I have a feeling it’s not going to stop now.  Maybe I will be lucky and they will call me from work and say we are closing up don’t come in.  That would be nice, but then again I could use the hours since I can’t go anywhere anyway.
