My baby is 16

Yesterday my little baby turned 16.  I can hardly believe it.  He is so not ready to take his driver’s test yet.  I called the place where he took the class and the guy said he was supposed to set up appointments to drive 4 weeks after getting his temps.  Well that was in September.  Hubby kept saying he is not ready he is not ready to drive with the instructor.  Who the hell is?  So the guy leaves a message on our machine this a.m. saying "J" is due to drive and they are really busy and that he should schedule his drive times 4 weeks apart.  It’s like what the hell are you talking about 4 weeks apart.  He isn’t going for his test until this summer so I am not worried by why would they schedule their drive time 4 weeks apart.  Get in and get it done.  There are other classes ending every three weeks so there are going to be more kids driving.  So anyway I am not sure what is going on and I told hubby to take care of it since it was his idea to make him wait.  Of course he got all pissed off and said why can’t you do it?  I am at work and you are at home.  Because this is your thing and you have done nothing to help him prepare for this.  One and only thing he has to do and he can’t even do that.  I know he won’t call and "J" can drive tomorrow because there is an opening. 
We will just see I guess.   The poor kids is going to hate to drive because he never lets him. 
Anyway so that set me off today.  I have to go into work in a couple of hours for a bit.  One of the girls just found out she is preggo and she is single with a 15 month old.  Gonna make her life so much harder.  I feel bad for her knowing I have two kids and hubby is always working so not around that much.  But he is still there.  Then to have no one around to help you.  Well she has her mom & grandma. 
So I am sure that will mean more hours for me which I am not happy about.  I asked the manager if we were going to hire someone else and he said he would check again and see if it was ok.  Our sales are way down so I have a feeling that will be a big no.  With summer coming I hope he is prepared for the vacations and everyone will want Saturdays off.  I have a feeling it will be a long summer.  I knew getting into this that it wouldn’t be as flexiable and as few of hours as I wanted.  But I thought I would give it a shot.  It pays well and it isn’t that bad and we are only open 9-6.  But it never fails, it’s always somthing with this age group.
