On the Go!

I have been on the go all day! I went and worked out and then stopped at the discount store for scrapbooking stuff. Came home and showered and then spent $150 at the grocery store! Ouch! They had a lot of good deals though. I think I will skip next week or go later in the week. It just gets to be so time consuming and a work out in itself. I lugged all that stuff in and put it away. No easy feat since I have to walk up half a set of steps to get to the kitchen! I should go out and wash my car since it hasn’t been washed since I bought it. I know it’s supposed to rain in a couple of days but maybe it will hold off until after work.

The new job is going well. I like it and it’s pretty nice hours. Was pretty busy yesterday and then today I am off. Work 8:30-1:30 Thursday and Friday. So I can’t complain.

School started today for the boys. I don’t think they were too happy about it. They got up on their own and got ready and left. I can’t wait to hear about it when they get home. I am sure the first work out of their mouth will be "BORING!!!" Can’t blame them I always hated the 1st day of school. It feels strange to be home alone again. Next year I will have a college student. If he gets accepted! We should probably start working on that soon.

It’s beatiful outside today. Warm in the 80’s and sunny. I think the cool down is set for the weekend.

Lots of people around here dying. My neighbor died, she was 94. My best friends ex-sister-in-law died she was 45. Steve Irwin died…poor guy. My dad’s old boss died…also a family friend. It always seems to happen the end of August.

My dad is feeling a bit better. They did make it up to the lake over the weekend and even managed to stay a couple of days. I know he loves it up there and wouldn’t want to miss out on all of us coming up there. He didnt’ move around much though. My mom said he refuses to use the walker. Can’t say that I blame him.

Well time to go fold some clothes and wash the car.
