Sunny

It’s sunny outside today. But it’s still cold and no chance of warming up any time soon. Looks like the rest of the week it’s going to rain and snow. Like I said no chance of warming up.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. I know we did. I didn’t have to cook, well except for the day before when I made all the stuff for what we took yesterday. But that wasn’t so bad so I got to really enjoy the day. We went to my sisters and my brother in law cooked. He usually does. My sister isn’t really a domestic person. She can be if she tries. She just doesn’t try much. The sun did shine and it was warmer in the 30’s but still not our average 53 degrees for this time of the year. I usually have my lawn raked by now. Not this year as it’s cold, cold, cold!

I did have the weekend off, but I was so sure I was going to get called into work. So I sat and waited for it all day, which made me mad. So I don’t feel like I really even enjoyed the weekend. But I made the best of it.

I got together on Friday evening with my best friend and my gay friend. We went to go out for a fish fry because my best friend really wanted to eat one. The first place we went was a 1 hour wait. Our gay friend said no way. So we headed to another place and that was much better. Pretty good fish with all you cold eat. So we enjoyed. Then the gay friend wanted to go out and my best friend did not. She has become a homebody. So I said I would go out. I ran to go to the bathroom and when I came out we were walking to our cars and my gay friend says he doesn’t want to go out now. So we all went home. I don’t think he wanted to be alone with me. I know he really wanted my friend to come along but she wasn’t giving in. It was still nice.

Well off to make some lunch and then go to work.
