Warming up

Thank goodness it is warming up outside and melting the 6.5" of snow we got last week. I am so not ready for the snow. Especially since Thanksgiving is not here. We have our annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot at the gym I work out at. We do that in the morning and then fest all day. And this is the first year I DON’T have to work the day after Thanksgiving in a long time. I am so thrilled. Of course if someone asks me I will gladly ablidge to do so I guess. I do have to work on Saturday but it’s only 9-1. I think I can handle that.

I haven’t heard anything for a while from the ex-employee. I haven’t really heard from her sister either. WE are going away this weekend just the girls for our annual Wisconsin Dells get away. I just hope nothing gets brought up about the store. I really don’t want to get into it about her sister. I only worked 2 months with her and in that two months she should have been fired more than once. We call it our widow get away since some of the guys go deer hunting. My husband doesn’t but he gets stuff done around the house. I was hoping he would do the Christmas lights since we didn’t do them last year. It got to late in the season and then heating was so supposed to be so exspensive I told him to forgetaboutit! Maybe this year, I don’t know I guess I don’t really care one way or the other. It would be nice.

Our oldest son still has not decided which college he wants to attend. He told his ad he would stay in town for one year and then transfer. We will see. He still is badgering me about going out of state. I just looked online and it’s $19,000 a year to go to NDU. Over six or seven years, that will kill us. I don’t think our younger son is college material but we will see. He has alot of potential, he is just not driven. Hell maybe he will be a full time student for all we know.

I did finally get to the gym today after being off a week. I did work out from home on Friday when it was snowing so hard out. Not as hard though as if I would go to the gym. I took the dog for a walk too. She really enjoyed that alot. Jumping in the snow and wiping her face in the snow. Who could be happier? The sun is trying to pieek out. It’s supposed to be out now for the next few days. I am in such a better mood when it is out. I just hate these short days. At 6:00 I am ready for bed. I can’t get used to the dark, short days. Plus when I get cold I get tired and want to sleep.
