after every meal, luke spends a good 10 minutes "pretending" with his spoon and bowl.
he is such a goofball. so….i have a few 🙂

in other news……
still sick. yay. day #11. however.
i decided to take matt’s antibiotics.
i finally feel like i’m starting to heal, so the fact that im on the upswing makes me feel better about taking only 6.5 days worth of antibiotics. a lot of the worst symptoms are gone, but my left ear has been bothering me. and if at any point i don’t have ibuprofen in my system, fever symptoms start to develop. which says to me…..ear infection. my mom has the same symptoms. how weird is it that this caused all of us to get ear infections?? that’s so weird! usually they’re caused by fluid getting trapped in your ears due to a virus of some kind, but usually only in kids and those who are pre-disposed to it (like have the structure or whatever that is favorable to cause them). i just find it so strange that it caused this in all of us…it’s not the norm.
anyway. the good news is, 24 hours after starting an antibiotic, you’re no longer contagious. so by tomorrow morning, i won’t be. and matt went through his round so he’s not either. but that doesn’t mean much for luke anyway, because he’s still fine so i think the ‘ol flu shot saved his little behind. THANK GOODNESS!!! because this thing was freaking NASTY and i have no idea how he could have handled it. i’m so so sooooo glad he didn’t have to experience this. it would have been terrible for him.
last night i made the little tags for the goodie bags for luke’s party. super cute!
i cut out the little circle charm from my mini monograms cartridge, and then i cut out the #1 in a circle that had a stitched detail around it and glued that on top of the charm circle. sounds confusing, but i’ll take a picture and show you when i have time. the plan is to thread ribbon through it and use that to tie the bags closed.
today i SERIOUSLY have to design luke’s cakes so i know what i need to shop for.
i also have to draw the pin the carrot on the nose poster, and cut out the carrots.
i also have to make the signs for the party, and cut out a bunch of paper snowflakes.
and…i have to call his doctor and get his medical records faxed to his new place.
luke seems to be done playing and he’s in a REALLY good mood this morning.
he usually sleeps 11-12 hours a night, but he slept in til 8 this morning so he got almost 13 hours!
i love when he’s this giggly and smiley….i’m gonna go play with him and snuggle him up 🙂

i’m having a TOTAL pms day.
i was just taking a mental inventory of all the things i feel right now.
i don’t feel like talking to anyone, i don’t feel like cleaning or showering or doing laundry. i don’t feel like doing any planning for luke’s party. i’m irrationally aggrivated over the fact that luke isn’t napping like he should right now. i have absolutely no interest in eating anything other than coffee and chocolate ice cream today (more specifically, chocolate panda paws). i’m pissed off at how dirty it is in here but have zero motivation to fix any of it. i want nothing to do with anything that involves the slightest amount of thinking, and i just want to drown myself in chocolate and paper crafting.
as i went through this list i kept thinking, what the helllll is wrong with me today.
oh duh. AF. stupid whore.
