the necklace

i’ve got a dead ladybug in a bottle necklace.

i wear it around my neck each and everyday.

it reminds me that life is fleeting, and that even if it’s not external i’m bleeding. it reminds that i can’t keep staying the same space.

i found it in a window seal, been there for a year or two. used to be red but now it’s orange.

life’s not so boring anymore.
