I seem to have recovered most of my lost data.  That virus made them invisible, but the data was still on the discs, after I figured out how to make them visible.

My pictures look safe, thank god.

Shoulda probably copied more things – but they are lost now.

The computer seems to be working right.  It is a BEAUTIFUL day outside, and looks to be a fine weekend – good travel weather.
