A quiet night

Well, the best laid plans of mice and men…

Home alone with my cat and the TV.

It looked earlier like it would be interesting and fun.

Ha ha.

I should have known better.

Things rarely work out the way I want them to.

Just another quiet Friday night.

People rarely do what they say they’re gonna do.
(I know this isn’t true for most people, but it is the story of MY life)

Maybe 2005 will be different.

ah m’lady, dreams and hopes for 2005 carry you on. happy 2005!

hi,you are right. Happy new year! 🙂

December 31, 2004

As I write this you have 50 minutes left of 2004, and it has been 2005 here in MT for ten minutes. I too had a quiet night. I am also hoping for a better 2005. 2004 was arduous, beginning with my husband developing guillian-barre syndrome at the beginning of the year, and almost losing his life, having to be apart most of the year due to finances, a car accident, and loss of two family members.

On the positive side, my daughter survived the accident with only back injuries that eventually will be healed, my husband steadily improved, and we have a roof over our heads and food in our stomachs. And thousands of $$ of debt, sigh. I am raising my virtual champagne glass to you, for a toast. Here’s to a better 2005!!!! Linette

It’s a quiet night for me too. Exactly as I wanted and planned though.

We had a quiet night too…me not drinking much because I had to pick the Princess up at an out of town party.

happy new year! it didn’t sound to me like 2004 was all that bad for you. here’s to an even better 2005!

Quiet for me and mine too… cards were played and BBQ was eaten. I like quiet.
