and that was friday again

I stayed up all night, reading online. I read all day yesterday too.

I should go to sleep; in fact, I was gonna and then I thought, well, I suppose I’ll write something.

It rained yesterday and looking out my balcony windows, I saw a double rainbow. Damn, it was "right over there" in Milwaukie. I grabbed a camera and took many shots – I’ll post them later.

I dunno what I’ll do today; I’m sort of in a holding pattern until tomorrow, when I can get my next batch of meds. I used to leave about now, to go downtown and get the Sunday first editions and drove around, 50 plus miles, dropping them off. I do kind of miss that job. Didn’t pay all that well, but it was a routine I liked, and payday was every Monday.

I wouldn’t have stayed up all night then, not on Friday nights anyway. I’ve never bought a paper since those days; I used to get a copy of the Sunday today, read what I wanted out of it, and put it in the Returns pile tonight. Tomorrow, there’ll be a few copies in the lobby, other people’s who put them out for the rest for us. I might look at it, I might not. Everything I wanna read is online anyway.

Babbling Cat this morning; it must be time to go lie down.

See ya later.

I still take a daily paper on weekdays, not on Sundays. Out of habit, I guess. That’s where I get my sukoku fix. Sleep good. Hope you get your meds ok.

I hope you were able to get some rest. I too do some of my best reading online. Ryn: It would be a bit of a drive but well worth it I’m sure.

i’m in the minority, i still get a paper (Thurs-Sun) and much prefer that to reading on-line. Same w/books altho’ i was a bit tempted to get a nook/kindle whatever for vacation, but it would only be for less luggage. So far it hasn’t happened.
