I gotta say, it’s like some kind of science-fiction date to me. Twenty thirteen. Whoa.

I gotta say, that was just about the lowest key New Year’s Eve I’ve ever had. I did just about nothing all day – well, nothing, if you count reading online and watching YouTube stuff "nothing". I got up late and took a nap later and got up and napped again and called my biker friend up -seems like we’ve been doing New year’s Eve for decades now – and went down to Oregon City for a while, and then back up here.

Low key, low profile, deadest New Years I’ve ever spent.

Today, there’s been a 24-hour "Three Stooges" marathon on METV – all Stooges, all the time.

I grew up watching them on Ch. 52 in the San Fernando Valley in 1960’s California. It’s like, totally nostalgic today.

Not at all like New Year’s Eve 1983, when I got ( click there)snowed in  in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

There was a television marathon of "The Twilight Zone" on that time….

I forgot how many New years I saw in Japan – they were never quiet, stay-at-home affairs.

After all, it is The New Year. Everything starts over.

The mirror has been showing a distorted reflection lately, instead of how I usually see myself:

New year’s Eve 1981 was kind of interesting:

It seemed like a good idea, at the time, to drink that fifth of whiskey and to get dressed up in her clothes.

T’was a memorable evening.

Mostly because K* took pictures that night….

Last night was the coldest night in almost 700 days; tonight is just about as cold and it will be like this – but dry, halleluya – all week.

The Falls will be frozen:
