It doesn’t look like this today ss
While my car was stuck in the lot downstairs, I grabbed my camera and walked up to the "center of town" around here (a hundred years ago this area was it’s own town, but Portland spread). This slideshow is a walk up there and back:

Incredible amount of snow–1944, eh? I believe it! That area looks tantalizingly familiar. Definitely east side, Foster Road or old Montavilla area? Or am I completely off? Glad it’s melting–but you sure got some great pictures of it! 🙂

Wow you have managed to amaze me yet again!! It must have been a freezing night and day for you!So glad you have your snow shoes and coat to wrap up in! A white Christmas is something i will probably never see as it is always summer here then.We spent the day in @7 degrees celcius, warm and sunny all day. How did your visit with your brother go, ,or is that still to come?

Well, lots of people want a white Christmas. You got it. It snowed last night when we were at my mom’s house. Every body was getting stuck in the drive way as it is a down slope. Fun getting out. Hope yours was Merry!
