It has been a good run, considering

I never questioned or felt bad about K*’s non-involvement with any of the child support stuff.

It really began before we got married, and wasn’t even my problem until more than 3 years after our divorce.

It really didn’t have much to do with her, but she didn’t forsake me either, she helped me and we just didn’t talk about it much.

It about drove me nuts, and I’m kinda glad she didn’t see that; I was here and she was there and I tried to be upbeat, on those long-distance calls.

The day after her classes ended in 1998, she flew to help me.  Apparently, the first words I said after the coma were, "where’s K*?".  It never crossed my mind that she wouldn’t be there.

32 years ago, in 1981, I wouldn’t have even thought of any of that:

Southern California

32 years ago this last weekend, looking at the time stamp on the picture.

Married, divorced, we live in different countries, but we’re still friends, and ya know,

It’s been a good run, considering.

*chuckles* 32 yrs ago I was 6wks away from having my son how time flies… you were a good looking young couple bet you still are today too. I think it’s great you two have stayed good friends… not many do.

Josh and I are still good friends. We were together for 10 years and depending on how long you have been reading my entries you might have heard about him. He is married now and I take care of their little 3 year old and they are expecting another one in November. People think this is weird but im friends with his wife too and lived with them for about 6 months a couple of years ago before moving in with rick (the father of the baby that died last year).

Think it’s great you remained friends..I’m trying to do the same and will for the sake of my kids but it isn’t always easy in my case…
