When I went there in 93, I played tourist and took a harbour cruise:
I didn’t know any of these women but they wanted to be in the picture with me.

My husband is a major Japanese fan and wants to go to Japan one day. He has studied the language a little and the culture and all of that good stuff. He had a few Japanese kids live with him for a while as exchange students when he was a teenager. He told me that Japanese women really have a strong fascination for American men. They all loved him too. So that’s probably why they wanted in the pic!

Maybe you can help us out and give us some tips for travelling to Japan someday. Like – what are the most awesome things to see? Anything to definitely not miss? Best parts to see? Prettiest landscape? Is exchanging the currency hard? How much yen is equal to one of our dollars? Any recommendations on the best area to stay in? How do you get around (car, train, bus, etc…)?
