Larch Mountain 2008 (edit)

 I drove out to Larch Mountain last week and realized that I hadn’t been there since 2008.

The view was better that day than last week:

Mt St. Helens erupted in 1980 and lost a third of the top of the peak; St. Helens was an almost perfect cone, "the Mt. Fuji of America":
