RYN: Oh, I’ve been to Oregon before. All the way through it to Vancouver, BC. Been to Portland and various other places on the way. I’m sure I’d fit right in. Problem is, my children live in Ohio and North Carolina and so I gotta head out that way if I want to be closer to them, and I do. I agree that California is way too overcrowded. But you just can’t beat the beaches here. From San Francisco northward, they all resemble Oregon beaches which are also nice, but different. Nothing like Santa Barbara, or Laguna Beach, or Cayucos or Pismo Beach.

I never thought that Oregon was a particularly scenic place until I started visiting your diary and seeing your pictures. They are gorgeous. 🙂
