outline

  • 5 different buses this week.
  • All of ’em of legal drinking age.
  • I got #10 this morning and it was FOUR quarts low on oil.  It’s a heavy drinker.
  • Smoked like a sonofabitch, too.
  • The Elementary kids were wild little shits this week – ten referrals written.
  • The Middle Schoolers are pretty lively too, now.
  • The end of the school year is in everyone’s sight.
  • Weather has been very changable.  Wednesday, driving an old unfamilar bus (yeah, looks the same, but they’s different enough) with absolutely wild little kids in the middle of a thunder storm, complete with pea-sized hail was too fun for me, the only adult, and a busy one at that, in the midst of 63 kids, aged from 1st to 6th grades.  Yeah, too much fun.
  • The sun hasn’t stayed out long enough to mess around with changing glasses and sunglasses, but boy, when it’s out, it’s frickin’ beautiful here.
  • Took some photos of my sliding glass window onto the balcony one day after the other to catch that changability.

Said photos are still in the memory card, so must be transferred, then edited a bit, then uploaded to Photobucket, then posted here.

  • A shower and some dinner first, I think.

You need to buy glasses that dim when the sun comes out. My husband has those. I never, ever, wear my glasses longer than probably two hours during the whole day, but when I used to wear them continually when I was younger, they were so thick that I couldn’t put those snap on shades they give you! Thank goodness there’s only about a month left, huh? Been missing your entries. Hope you are well.

The bus and the storm and the children all sound like a real laugh riot. Sometimes I imagine that I would vote for you for sainthood. Be well.

Anxious to see those photo’s. I love your pics. They are my window to places and things.

Ne’er a dull moment in your life hey? Kids yellin, buses changin’ motors chuggin’ papers runnin’ slumber the key to the day. catch some zzzs, refresh your geez, and sail through another hectic day! love and much compassion,

oh and guess what? We have had 3 days of rain! Prayers are getting answered here too. The gutters are flowing, the rivers are filling and soon the lakes will appear again….Hope you were grateful for the thunderstorm that ensures your fresh water!turn on the tap and see the lovely water you have to drink!

I would make you forget those lousy days

Yes, even the smallest child seems to feel it when the end of the school year is coming. And the nice weather doesn’t help. In my class, all the “fun” stuff comes out (like our sand table), to keep their hands busy and happy, and we get lots of outside time. It’s in their blood to run around like heathens this time of year.
