Looking north from my building. Mt St. Helens on the horizon, 55 miles away.

Zooming in, our own volcano is silent today.

Looking northwest from my building towards downtown Portland.

What outstanding photos…so clear and intense. I have so much to learn about photography. Did you use a tripod?

Doesn’t it make you glad to be able to capture the moment to enjoy it again…to corroborate your perspective? That sky is so amazing.

Gorgeous. P-town is a gorgeous city. Now if I can only go there for more than a quick drive through. You wouldn’t think most of my college friends were from there or anything.

The one good thing about going to work out in the morning is that I often get to watch the sun rise – the club’s main windows face northeast, and the machines face mostly out the window. It’s beautiful.
