Sunday on Johnson Creek
It’s a mess out there today, listening to the radio traffic reports. It’s over 100 degrees everywhere – well above the seasonal average.
Yesterday was a bit cooler so I went over to A & J’s place on Johnson Creek.

A & J’s house has a cheery welcome.

No one was out front or in the house, so I wandered into the backyard and down to the creek:

And there they were, feeding the fish. There are all sorts of small fish in the creek, and they swarm the bread chunks, but don’t show up in my pictures of ’em, sigh.

It was only 94 here, so compared to out on Foster Road, that blacktop river that never ceases flowing, it’s cool here, and the slight breeze made it the place to be.

I found you on the main page because I noticed how cute your cat was. I love black ones. Is that you in the picture or random people?
