if i upload 11 more pictures to photobucket, i'll have 2000 there.

Ah, last week the daisies looked so fine!  Down by the creek is the fire ring- when the creek isn’t over that, we’ve had some nice fires there.  Pretty good for in a city, I think  Like, a little slice of nature.  This area has grown so much in the 19 years I’ve lived here.

beautiful photos

Yes you are very blessed to have this little slice of nature in the midst of a city. You can sit back and see how it must feel being out on a farm in the middle of nowhere, just you and the trees and the slow flowing water, the birds chirping, the bees humming, the flowers giving off there faint scent. It’s nice to be able to stop, look, and listen for a while admidst this fast paced life.

It’s a wonder you didn’t go for a dip, seeing as it was soooo hot.I guess you had to watch out for those pirana you told me about though…Don’t want your toes nibbles off!! Hey, how is your foot coming along? Did you manage at work okay?

my smaller son and I love to make fires. We sit and toast marshmellows on a stick until they are al crisp on theoutside and really gooey on the inside. Then we gobble them up before they stretch and ooze down to the ground. It good fun, and a nice relaxing way to spend some time together on a cold winter’s day. We have snow on the high moutian peaks around our valley at present. So temperatures are

are pretty low.minus two-five, at night, only getting to 15 celcius max in the day if the sun shines. I can’t complain though, we have had great weather for this two week school break.Sun shining nearly every day. But as soon as starts to go down at 4.30, the temperature plumets about 10 degrees. We went inside yesterday afternoon at four, it was quite pleasant out. Then we went out at five..

and it was freezing! The sky was clear, so no cloud cover to hold the warmth in.The hot air just rose up and the cool air flooded in. I hope today is a bit more pleasant for you. Time to break out the fans hey?

just waiting for pics to load. 🙁 Thanks so much for that info about how you scheduled your classes with breaks in between. That was so smart, I’ll definitely be doing that. Do you have any other survival tips on how you got through school? I’ll take any and all you’ve got. I am so inspired by your getting through school and hope I can do it too. I need all the help I can get!

I always loved Johnson Creek–that first picture with all the incredible greens is just stunning, Cat! RYN–thanks for your note–when those suckers meet me in person, they are gonna get the surprise of their life–I may meet them at the door with my damn machete in my hand and a double edged dagger in the other! lol!

I love those orange flowers. Are they asiatic lilies?? 🙂

ryn: Thanks for your concern. I haven’t been writing lately. I just haven’t been in the mood, but I think it’s coming back. I’ve been alright, but my train of thought has been all over the place so it’s been hard for me to write entries. Thanks again 🙂

I love the picture with the orange flowers. I want to hang it in my dining room.

I almost feel cooler just looking at those pictures.
