Swing wide the doors of perception 7

I drove home towards Portland but went right by the turn off to I-84 in Corbett and kept going on the Columbia River Highway:

with the sun behind me, it makes for a good shot!

the road here was all mine, save a few joggers and walkers, there were no other cars.

Here, we are just 22 miles from Downtown Portland, Oregon.  If you were to come here, you could fly into the airport here, rent a car, and in much less than an hour you could be right here.

I don’t think you’ll keep wondering why I live here, eh?

I’ve been to Portland once, and my friend I was visiting took me on a few country drives also. I don’t wonder why you live there….cuz I’ve seen it and it IS a lovely place to live! Probably one of the most ideal places in the U.S., for sure! hugs, Weesprite

I have an old friend who recently moved from Portland to Seaside, Or. I would love to go there someday & maybe I will. But old friend is connected now & I don’t want to cause any bad feelings so I’ll keep my distance unless he calls me & gives me the OK to remain an old friend. pretty area that’s for sure.
