two copies

One is here by my desk, on the wall to my right, and the other is at eye level sitting on the john in the bathroom.

It is around me all the time.

K*, my former wife and friend (and angel) helped me write it the summer I got out of the Adult Foster Home and into this apartment.

It is about being given a second chance and not blowing it.

Some days I do blow it, but it’s always Onwards.
