Vacation time ss

Well, I have today and tomorrow left for the Winter Break.  School starts on Monday the 7th, but I work on the weekends too, and the papers never take a day off.  They should be skinny this weekend too, but with MLK day coming up, I would expect the retailers to flood my papers with ads, because, you know, Martin Luther King was all about shopping.

(that’s sarcasm, in case you’re in doubt)

We’re in between storms right now.  It rained all day yesterday and looks to rain all of tomorrow too.  The mountains are getting lots of snow, so the skiers and snowboarders are happy, and we’ll have plenty of water this summer with all the snowpack.

Yesterday, I spent some time going through my photos on Photobucket and made this slideshow of shots off my balcony:

Well, some of the shots are from inside the apartment, and a few are taken from the north side of the building; we can see downtown and Mt. St. Helens.  Most of these shots are sunrises; my jobs these days have me up early, but some are sunsets too.

I should pay some bills, so this will be that short – gotta avoid those late fees.

Beautiful pictures. I wish I had your talent. Maybe someday I will, just need to learn how to use my camera better. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

No problem on the long note. Thanks for sharing. I’m too tired to write anymore tonight, but I will write about my experience in my diary tomorrow, or very soon. Goodnight

ryn: Fullerton ain’t me. I don’t have internet access when I am housesitting and I only read from home or school.

ummmm, nice SS

Beautiful slideshow! The rain followed me from Oregon down to California where the news reporters on the L.A. news stations seem baffled and amazed by wet stuff falling from the sky.
