Waiting time again (More)

 "Due to the high volumn of calls. leave your number and we’ll call you", Unemployment’s telephone message said when I called them this morning.  I called the Housing manager and got her voicemail too, but the ast. manager is in the office so I went down and talked to her and filled out a form reporting loss of income.  I’ll go get my last check this afternoon and turn in my uniforms – washed them last night, and will go… onwards.

Waiting time again.

Just after I wrote this, Unmeployment called me back and I filed a claim.  I have begun the process, and it is underway.

I hope this works out better than the last time I lost a job… but I wrecked that opportunity myself, by insulting (and that word to decribe what I did is inaccurate) the boss.  One of the points of liviing a life is to learn from what you have done and do it better "next time".  I did not burn THIS bridge this time, so I have learned, and I hope it works out better than  it did last time I applied for UE – I was "Denied" initially and on appeal, and while that gave me an opportunity to apologize to the man I insulted, it didn’t give me any Unemployment and I was in dire straights for a big part of this year.

Hopefully, I will be approved this time and will be able to go onwards that much easier.

I’m still waiting, I guess… but I will be positive and try to move on and get another job.
