warm weather

 We are looking at the highest temperatures of the year this weekend.  The last two or three summers have been cooler than "normal"; we didn’t see any 90 degree temps last year until the middle of August, and as far as I remember, no really hot days in 2010 at all.

Mothers Day is supposed to be in the high 80’s, but they say that Monday will be 91 degrees or more.

Election Day is Tuesday.  Here in Oregon, voting is by mail; I was kind of hoping that by turning in my ballot early, that these TV commercials would GO AWAY.

Guess it doesn’t work that way.

Today’s the last day to mail ballots; my local library will have a ballot return box and I guess I’ll walk over there and drop mine off.

Seems like none of the Presidental candidates are visiting Oregon….

I did get a reply, I guess, from the Finding Oregon people; my email came back from them.  I guess they got it; the return address on "my" email is not my address, it’s theirs, so I hope someone read it and maybe said, "hey, let’s check this guy’s site out".
