Día de Los Muertos
Last night was so much fun – I saw some of THE most creative costumes on State Street, including Pac-Man and Ghosts, birth control, the Lego man, Beetlejuice and Lydia, and the fuzzy dice. 🙂 Although that last one was just a LITTLE bit gross! There were about 20,000 people there when we were there…that’s mind-boggling!
I think I did really well on my African test, but, as usual, I’ll have to wait two weeks to REALLY know my results. I had an incredibly good sandwich from IG today, which, for some odd reason, made my day! And then Journalism and Zoology flew by (and Amy and I got to talk a lot before the Zoo lecture). I got an A on my Spanish test, which made me SO happy. The rest of class was really fun, too, with Pictionary, talking about Halloween, and group work at the end. I really like Jodie – she makes the class fun, and C.J. is just crazy! It makes me very excited about taking 226 next semester.
There’s a special “Día de Los Muertos” dinner at Gordon Commons tonight, so I’m hitting that with some of the crew. Hockey’s at 7:05, then who knows what we’ll do. Maybe another wander down State Street? Tomorrow I HAVE to write my African paper, but I’ve got all day, so it’s not a big deal. Jen and some of her friends are going to be here at night, which I’m psyched about! I think Paul said Micky’s going to be here, too. Sunday’s going to be writing another paper and laundry and all that fun stuff.
MUST STOP EATING THE HALLOWEEN CANDY! 🙂
MUST GO TO SERF!
I’m out of here…I’m HAPPY!
Yay Im glad to hear you had a good time!!! ~Val
