happy stuff.

i finally managed to spend all my money. usually i have to pay back rolf for whatever, pay half of his gopass, pay for hay/food/vegetables for the piggies or hamster or just pay for stupid stuff.

but ah, saturday i went shopping. with money. for the first time in a while.

+ the cure – concert
+ the shins – chutes too narrow [lovelovelove!]
+ an encyclopedia about rodents and bunnies, because i’m a nerd like that.

i know it sounds like stupid stuff and it doesn’t cost much, but i don’t get to spoil myself that much.

i love all my cure cd’s. i’m really starting a collection here! concert, staring at the sea, pornography, wish, paris, disintegration, kiss me kiss me kiss me, the top, bloodflowers + the 4 boxset cd’s. the 4 hour trilogy-dvd, two records and two singles.
when i live with rolf, we’ll have this hugeass collection. mmmm. i cant wait.

What’s your favourite song by the Shins? Tell me, I’m curious. Also, I wish I lived somewhere that wasn’t the middle of nowhere, that way I could go to concerts, too. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Cure (and someday I will!).

Oh, and RYN: you know, the week after I met her, I began to think, “… she reminds me of someone… but who?” A few days ago it dawned on me that it was you. You posted a picture once that even looks like her. It’s très shocking. Maybe you have a twin that you aren’t aware of?

RYN: I don’t really know the Shins, but I kind of do. I know enough to know that I would like to listen to more of their songs/buy a cd, but I’ve only heard a little bit by them. I plan on going through a Shins phase this summer, and was wondering what songs you like so that I could listen to those first (I like a lot of songs that you mention when you write, so I figure it’s good to follow you).

Ooh, I love The Shins. I have both their albums and I play them way too much. Dunno if you remember me or not, but I used to read your diary a loooong, long time ago (2001). I was going through old notes and I saw a few you’d left me and I decided to see if your diary was still up. I guess I’ll be going back and catching up now 🙂 Paco
