zorro.

i bought a new hammy today. didn’t even had to whine. my mom just expected it, heh. i can’t help it. i think i’m addicted to hamsters 🙁 everytime one dies, i think i need a new one, to get over it quicker… or so that i don’t have to stare at an empty cage.

so. meet zorro. as you can see, he’s still a bit shy. there’ll be more pics at the bottom of this entry.
i know zorro’s not exactly the most original name ever, but he just is a zorro. he has this cute mask around his eyes, and he just looks like a zorro. i was thinking about this name before i even decided i was going to take him home, and i couldn’t think of another name. it’s one of those pets that just has a name already.

he’s still a bit scared, but doing alright. imagine what it must be for such a little creature… first you’re being chased in your cage [damn stupid students at the petstore. he didn’t even know if it was a boy or a girl. i had to explain him!], then put in a box with just bedding and toilet paper. you stay there for the next half hour, and then you’re dropped into this huge cage with scary new things.
he already took some veggies out of my hand though 🙂 so i don’t think it’ll be too hard to tame him. he’s just really really small, and i’m scared he’ll jump out of my hand, or that i’ll break him or something. he’s so tiny, that i had to change his huge wheel for syrians to a smaller one. he couldn’t get it to move!

apparently he’s family of tigo. the petstore where i bought him only has nests when people bring them. this time they had one. they were 5 hamsters in the cage, and one looked exactly like tigo. it scared the hell out of me. i hated seeing that hamster… it hurt 🙁 it was just like tigo was there… but that’s impossible… :'(

eh. i can’t talk to rolf for a few days. he’s in zwolle, and he’s supposed to have adsl there, but he has to wait until next week 🙁 so i can’t show him cute pics or tell him how cute zorro is. and… i just can’t talk to him. i hate that.
but, only 12 days left until i see him again. i should survive.
