NoJoMo #11

Welcome to day 11 of November.  : )

I’m on top of things today, supposedly.  I don’t feel like I accomplished all that much but I didn’t do too badly all things considered.  I slept in for once, til all of 10:30am LMAO!!  Then I got dressed and headed to campus for lunch.  I putzed around on campus for a little while then went down to Red Fronts (a specialty store) and bought a decal for my car for the sorority.  However this stupid store has a $10 minimum to use your card so I had to pick up something for $6.  I ended up buying this little pewter box with AST engraved all over it and cute little patterns.  It’s heavy too!  I could probably kill someone with that thing!  I will probably end up giving it to my Little next semester or else coming back and giving it to my G-little. 

Then I got into the chapter room at 3:15pm and was in there until 8pm.  Yeah almost 5 freaking hours of homework.  I did about 3 chapters worth of homework for biochemistry.  We have a test on Friday.  I have another chapter and a half to do problems for then I can just go over my notes and stuff on Thursday.  I’m excited though.  I am going to a Habitat for Humanity build on Saturday morning.  I hate that I have to get up at 8am on a Saturday but I am going to knock out my required community service.  We are supposed to do 3 hours and the build is from 9am-2pm, so that’s 5 hours right there!  Score right?  Haha.  Then Drake is supposed to be at the party Saturday which makes me very excited too!!  I feel all silly being so excited about getting to meet this guy.  Oh well, I will let myself enjoy the giddiness.  I don’t feel this way very often about guys.  Usually I am too practical to get all giddy about a boy.  But I am enjoying the excitement.  I am 99% sure it won’t do me any good but!  LMAO.  It gives me something to look forward to between now and my 2 papers and my presentation being due.  heh.  Rough draft is due on Friday for one of my papers.  It isn’t for a grade though so I may just skip it.  Not that I won’t be working on it, I will but my priority is definitely my biochemistry test.  I need to bring my grade up big time for that class!  *sigh*

Pressure pressure.  End of the semester is rolling up.  Thanksgiving break is in 2 weeks.  So excited to be going home, oh wait!  No I’m not.  I’m only moderately excited because I need to get more shoes from home, more business-y clothes, and I can ‘shop’ in my parents’ pantry.  LMAO!  Yay food!
