Another Day

It was another day where I did “some stuff,” read some Scrip, and then had a very brief music session. I basically played LP’s song “Lost in the Echo” several times and then listened to C’s rendition of someone else’s rendition of  “Halleluyah”. That was all. “Halleluyah” is always a beautiful song to listen to.

“Lost in the Echo” is something I’d call a fully loaded group effort, meaning it had everything going for it at the time. The music was good. The rap/words were meaningful. I especially like verse 2.  And of course, they had the gorgeous choruses with the cathartic screams near the end.

That was it for me today. Like I said, I can listen to most but not all of their older stuff without conviction of any kind. Other stuff — including some stuff where C was the lead — just plain does not agree with me, so I don’t mess with it. I will shut anyone’s music off if it doesn’t feel right, even if it’s my own, lmao.
