catch up

I know I don’t have the time to catch up on everything but I’ll give it a start….

I had my interview for the assistant managament position.  The interview went very well.  I was told there were 10 applicants – 9 were interviewed – of those "6 of you"…so me including  me!!! "are iminitly qualified."  So good news I have a chance…bad news I have competition.  What is meant to be will happen.  I found that out last year when I got passed over for one job…to get a better one…and a year later am SOOO happy I didn’t get the other since most of the department has been fired and reposted again and again.  Not a good work area to be in.  So I figure if I get this new position it is a good thing and if not…well there may be a very good reason.  The other position has not posted yet  I will apply when it does.

I went to Mexico with my parents to stay at my grandparents place just south of san felipe.  It was a lot of fun.  We left Sat the 3rd and came home Wed.  The weather was a little cold…the temp was nice during the day but the wind was cool.  Nights were too cold for me.  I rode for miles on the beach with the 4Wheeler and a little with the Samari….the Samari is not as fun thought it is a rough ride and not much wind in your hair freedom feeling.  The 4Wheeler was a BLAST!  I love the freedom and the mindless seconds, minutes, hours passing as I ride.  I don’t have to think about anything….I just ride and watch all the beauty pass.  It was incrediable.  I got some great jewlry….an expensive (but I got a deal!) black and tiger onyx silver bracelet.  I also got a silver bracelet with a clasp of two hands holding each other….it makes me feel peacful when I am wearing it.  I feel close to something unknown…something familiar…it is beautiful and makes me feel good.  I got a silver belt buckle bracelet – thin and claps like a buckle would…very chic.  I got two pairs of earings  – one pink saphire and one black onyx.  I bought a piano key looking necklace.  And I found these great magnatic beaded bracelet/neclace interchangable jewels….I bought 9 for gifts.  I gave one to my roomate and one to Alli so far.  I am going to keep one or 2 and give another to my roomate for Xmas.  Then probably xmas gifts for Elle, Brandi, Becky…and I am not sure who else.  They are fun though. 

I picked up all the purses I had ordered from Brandi – I gave my mom the ones to bring back to my sisters and nieces and the one for her.  She liked her xmas gift. 

Thursday morning I headed for Salt Lake City to see Alli.  I am here now.  We have had fun dining out and shopping.  This great pair of high healed brown boots that I had bought a couple months back were breaking (didn’t help I played soccer in them….mmm yes I am a smart, but talented girl in heals!)  I found the same pair and bought them again…vowing not to play soccer in them again.  I also found 2 great sweaters and a cami.  The clothing was cheap….$40 for all three!  The sweaters were normally $45 each!

I am heading home tomorrow.  I hope to see Bailey this weekend.  I have been missing him – although I have been getting the vibe that he isn’t missing me as much….I hope that is not the case.  But, who knows….sad.  16 days until Christmas and I still have one wish.  My parents kept asking me what I wanted for Christmas…I wanted so much to tell them all I want is Bailey…but I couldn’t.

I had a hell of a time getting my Jeep in shape for the trip…that story can come later – but the good news is my window is fixed, oil changed, breaks good, and clean and detailed!
