A Busy but Easy Week

              The Weekend is here!  Yeah!   We plan to wrap the end of a busy weekend tonight by having an early meal and then relaxing and having a double foot spa night followed by a little television and possibly a sexy night  It has been a busy yet easy week here.  My Father-in-Law and sister-in-law has gone to Spain with my other sister-in-law. They’ll be there till next Tuesday!

     This Tuesday I got busy cooking.  I baked two loaves of sourdough bread and a meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and a peach pie.  I washed a load of clothes and I did a bit of shopping.  In the Afternoon I went to get my hair trimmed.  They did a fantastic job!  I’m going there again.  This is the hairdresser where my mother-in-law (God rest her soul) had her hair done!  It’s sad and tragic that I didn’t get to meet my mother-in-law!  It was such a sad and shocking thing to experience a week before our Wedding!  Alex said that she and I would have gotten along sweetly!

  My Mum phoned yesterday.  She’s doing well!  She’s sounding more optimistic about things and she is doing much better!  Dad is his own self. He loves me and all yet he still has his paranoid ideas. I wish he just learns how to chill and not have this obsession with money and how you have to work your fingers through your bones to obtain it and it being equal to a life of happiness.  Yes, money does help yet it isn’t the staff of life!  You just need to earn it by doing some hard, honest work coupled with lots of rest, relaxation and ensuring that you get enough love and fun out of life while you earn it!  That’s the secret to a good life in my opinion.

 I’m going to have a lie down now!  I woke up with a bit of a headache!

I coloured my own hair this morning!  I bought this cool hair-colouring kit at Boots yesterday. It’s rich-red auburn by Gardiner.  It came out rich and soft! :O)
