A Busy Day

Gentle Hearts:

The Bank Holiday was awesome! It was a lovely one and Hubby and the A-Team as we have dubbed ourselves did some major relaxing!  On Saturday the A Team of Alex and Samantha and Mary Aris (the triple A) took a bus to Central Oxford and we went on a major shopping expidition.  Hubby  bought himself an impressive Lego system. This has been his boyish dream and downfall…the Legos. He got one that features cars and all sorts of  trucks and i got one that has cats!  In the Evening we were invited to Alex’s other sister Kim’s for a BBQ.

Today I feel a bit better than on Sunday when Dad went over the top.  I have E-mailed my brother John about it and he sent me a nice E-mail a while ago saying that he appologizes for Dad.  He says he does go over the top over every little thing!  My brother said that he’ll phone me to talk.  He’s been highly supportive of me and Alex and knows what we’ve been through living with my parents for ten months!  I thought that my parents would change and be happy and proud that I found myself such a caring, loving and respectful Englishman! It goes without saying that Alex is a true gentleman!  Yet my parents fail to see this! They are extremely childish and set in their ways and sees only what they want to see!

Today I set out to post a parcel to my Dad for Father’s Day and a copy of our Wedding Video to Ivonne.  I then came home and baked some scones with mixed fruit and orange zest.  They came out yummy!  I also made some chicken Cordon Bleu and glazed carrot!  My Sister-In-Law Sue and her granddaughter came to visit me and we went out for a stroll.  We had some Tea and Scones and talked about things!  She recommends that I should let my Dad know that I love him but that he has disrespected me and has offended me with his comments.
