A surge of Good Luck
Gentle Hearts,
Today seems to reek of Good Luck for both Hubby and I. This morning Hubby had an Interview with HSBN. He had an Interview for the position of Quality Control Officer. Basically it consists of scanning maps into computer and other office work. Hubby got into his Black Jess Jones suit and Oscar De La Renta shirt and went to his Interview. He got the job! He’ll be starting next Monday! It’s a nine to five job on the permanent full-time basis! He’ll be earning £15,000.00 a year!
I had an E-mail from my boss at the Library saying that I can E-mail him a copy of my resignation letter and that he was working on a draft of my Reference Letter. He said that I am not to worry about finding work here. He said that I have twenty years of experience and have been such a good employee that he sees it easy for me to find work here! Alex’s sister, Sue who works as a manager at the Dermotology Department in the hospital here has put in a good word for me at the hospital. I’ll be working part-time as an Administrative Clerk!
I made an impressive meatloaf tonight and my first attempt at making Scalloped Potatoes! They came rather nice! Everyone here ate to their hearts’ content and there was no meatloaf or potatoe left!
Hubby and I took a nice stroll together in Town and Alex did a video of the Town. I’m planning to show my brother this video showing him and my parents and friends in the US where we live!
Hubby and I both have runny nose from the flight. Today I was a bit under the weather. I am taking a LemSip which is a Cold-Flu lemon hot drink with paracetamol. I feel a bit sleepy and achy! I’ll be going to bed early tonight.
Mrs. Mary Aris
Congrats to Alex. I’m sure you will be working before you know it too!
