Banana nut Bread
The day started out at 6:45 AM. Both Hubby and I sprang out of bed. I staggered into the kitchen for a cuppa Tea to sort of ease into the morning. Hubby sat in his chair looking out the window into the clouds sort of his way of easing into his day. It’s our normal day-to-day routine as we pull the veil of night to reveal the bright morning sunshine that greets us and readies us into our busy day!
I had a nice leisurely bath and soaked for twenty minutes listening to the Tear Jerker CD that hubby got me two Valentine Days ago. I then gave myself a facial and shaved my legs, giving myself a Bikini shave. After getting dressed I sat in the kitchen and read Hands Christian Anderson’s ‘The Wild Swans’. At noon Hubby came home from lunch and I had his favorite steak pastry for him and for dessert we had some Lees Snowflakes with vanilla ice-cream.
Alex’s Dad made Spaghetti bolognaise for Tea tonight and I made an awesome Banana nut bread for pudding.

A bee got in the house today. I noticed it while I was preparing lunch for my husband and me. It buzzed loudly then fell into a corner. Hubby came in from work at noon and I told him about the Bee. We had lunch and then the Bee hovered above us. Hubby got the Hoover out and as the Bee posed by the biscuit tin he sucked the bugger in! At five past three as I began to mix the ingredients for the Banana Bread I heard a buzzing noise and to my surprise the Bee came back to life hovering above me! I got the long pole used to open the spotlight window in the kitchen and let the Bee hover out. That was the end of the Bee inzzident!
We’re being eased into our day by cloudy skies at the moment!
