101 in 1001, take 2

The 101 Things in 1001 Days Challenge

The Challenge:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple challenges such as New Year’s resolutions or a ‘Bucket List’. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.

January 14, 2013

Great list!

January 14, 2013

Excellent list. I especially like that taffy making is on here 😀 That was fun even when it didn’t work properly…

January 14, 2013

Love your list! Especially the day in the life entries goal! Oh, and you should totally play Scramble with Friends – it’s my favourite! 😀

January 15, 2013

Also, for your cake goal, I could send you the stripey cake recipe I made for Jenn’s party if you like? It was actually really easy, just somewhat time consuming with the stripe making. Although you could just add larger spoonfuls each time and make fewer, larger stripes…

February 12, 2013

I started writing a list for this, but I’m only up to 14 things so far. It’s hard but also fun. Also, I like that the first thing you got to cross off was beating your dad at stuff 🙂

February 13, 2013

Now I’ve doubled it to 28 (my age today!) along with multiple broad ideas for other things that need to be made specific. I think I will definitely have to post about this when I’m done, or at least closer to done, and then follow-ups for progress 🙂
