Poop flag.

I love that we can go for walks, just a minute or two away from the main road, and this place turns into a little country town where everyone says hello to everyone, even if they are driving past. (that one amused me, some lady stuck her hand out as they passed and waved and said "HI!").

I also love the wildlife. And my awesome cat-like ability to hear the tiniest noise and stop and stare at where it came from. I can spot squirrels from very far away, and today… I spotted a deer.

Cute thing ran away as I was taking a picture. It was staring at us for the longest time and then BAM it went away. Jake must’ve done something. 🙂

Yay for wildlife I am unfamiliar with!

This morning, at 9:28am the groceries arrived. And I thought that to be entirely cool, as they were meant to arrive anytime between 9:30 and 1. Mmm…. no waiting at all. And what was impressive, the delivery dude carried every single bag up in one go! Only bad thing… we got about 15 plastic bags out of it all. At least. When we normally use less than 6 of the reusable bags. We take 6, it is rare to fill them all.

It is so cool getting groceries without having to go to a place to do it.

I don’t know what tonight entails, but we have dvds (including an Eddie Izzard one that neither of us have seen) and the freezer is holding frozen smoothie treats with banana in them. Man I hope those turn out fabulously good. Mmm.

*edit* Well, the night was me watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (I’m watching the original tomorrow… well, recording it at least) and eating melted timtams in some hot milo. Which was really stupid, as it’s rather hot here. With (according to google weather) 92% humidity. Gross. But was a nice aussie-dessert.
