The Open Road Awaits Me

Wow, it’s been forever since I have updated. Lots has happened, nothing really traumatizing enough for my crazy diary. But, I am going on my yearly (so it seems) vacation with Mike. We are going to FLORIDA!

His parents moved down there back in November, and now we have a lavish place to visit. But, on the way down there we are stopping in New Orleans- I am soooooo excited! Driving through states I have never been to before! We are hitting Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana! I just need a road trip. I have nothing to get away from this time except just cold weather. Usually, a vacation was in order when I had to get out of my family’s house, when the tension was so thick, you could cut it with a knife. There is still tension there, but I am tension free. Just want a little sun and relaxation.

The trip is completely random- no idea where we are staying, or where we are going, or what we are doing, but in order to fully enjoy my trip, I am working the next 7 shifts possible to get money. I did that last week to make rent before the trip, and once I had a day off, the fever hit me. BLAH for the suckiest immune system on the planet. Ya know, I really need to start writing in here more. Maybe I will. I’ll write about the silly parties Mike and I throw, about the crush on the boy in the play, that whenever I see him, I could not even speak. (Massive crush), I’ll write about how Houli’s is starting to suck so bad that I have cried openly in front of my tables on several occassions. I’ll just write more. It helps me be a it more creative and free thinking. But, I’ll start by writing this..
