i’m excited that, with my own money, i bought dennis’s present. i got him the newest stephen king book. AND it was only $23 for a hardcover! i still had money left for more but didn’t get the chance to finish 🙁 we had to get moving and get beau home. maybe i’ll get another chance to go before Christmas. if not, dennis won’t mind. he wants that book more than the other little things i was going to get for him.

we finished nearly everyone off. we have to get some more for our parents and figure out if we’ve got enough for Christmas and birthday for sawyer. we’ve got beau done. dennis stopped today and got him something like this

it’s probably the exact one but i haven’t seen it yet.

we got several picture frames b/c we printed off 5 x 7s of beau and sawyer for grandparents. we got presents for the niece and nephews on my side (a journal for her, pokemon cards for one, and a boat puzzle for another.) we got a basket and several body shop products for my SIL b/c she does so much for us. we didn’t have her name or anything but we wanted to get her something. we got her soaps and lotions. i hope she likes them. they don’t fill up the basket but, believe me, cost enough! we either have to fill up the basket with tissue paper or something or get a smaller one.

we grabbed another set of Cars cars (race crew tow truck etc.) for sawyer and Thomas’s coaches Annie and Clarabel. i hope they fit in his stocking. the cars will be for his bday. we got 4 Cars puzzles for sawyer too. they were at the dollar store. they have some surprising stuff in there. it seems like we don’t have a lot for sawyer and beau but it sure adds up. i can see how parents can go nuts buying stuff if they have lots of small things. we’ve already bought tons of other stuff (i described in other entries.) we still want to get sawyer a basketball net but couldn’t fit it in the car. dennis is thinking of asking his dad to pick it up for him. he goes into the city for work and might not mind. i told him to take a picture of it with his phone to show his dad the right one.

my mom came by with an early present for beau. his ocean wonders bouncy chair isn’t working so she got him another one. 🙂  i think he’ll love it. it has sounds and bubbles and lights. i have to wait for dennis to come home and put it together for me before he can try it. i’m not going to attempt it.

i can’t wait for christmas. sawyer will be so excited. at least i hope he will be. mom buys him stuff ALL the time so i hope it’s not ruined for him. i doubt it b/c she doesn’t get him cars and thomas stuff every day. mostly clothes and a few little toys.
