9 months in…

and here i am on a weight plateau. i need to step it up. and i will. 🙂 last week, we got off track but we’ll get back on this week, working out wednesday and friday and walking too hopefully. i hope it stops raining before dennis gets home so we can walk. or i can walk. or whatever. i love walking with my MP3 player, though i need to take some stuff off, put better stuff on. me 9 months in wearing the walking shorts i wore with the orange top at the zoo but with something more fitted:

dennis is now swamped at work. crazy!! now he’s working 8-5 with possible overtime when it was 8-4 and NO overtime and fridays off (workshare so 55% pay)! isn’t that crazy? i hope it continues, though his vacation time got postponed for 3 weeks. i do like having him home by 4:30 but we need the $$ so i’ll have to deal.

b/c i’m a crappy mom, it’s going to be tough for me now. sawyer isn’t going to BestStart on thursdays anymore b/c we don’t have gov’t help now that school is out. he’s still going on tuesdays and my mom might take him home with her thursdays, which will be cool. we can’t afford to pay for both days (and next year, gov’t is paying for 2 days a week!! damnit. we’ve been paying for one of our days.)  i can’t wait til beau is older and we can all relax and have fun. beau is so much work and it’s no secret i’m not a fan of the first year. i just held him for over an hour b/c that’s what he wanted. he gets into EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. ugh. right now, he’s standing here pulling stuff out of the basket under my desk. we’re constantly after him. little bum.

at least he doesn’t cry for hours and hours on end though anymore. 😉 

anyway, as i was saying. these 2 are too much for me. i do think the delay in dennis’s holidays will be a GOOD thing. by then, i will really need a break (with sawyer being at school only once a week) and hopefully all this work means we will have the $ for dennis to renovate at least one more room soon!! 🙂 that would be so nice. this house has SUCH potential but damn, it’s ugly. LOL.

our trip to T.O. zoo and Niagara Falls was really great. i loved it. i didn’t want to come home and i really wished we could’ve just stayed in a hotel saturday night. that wasn’t in the budget though. it was $20 to park in Niagara Falls, btw!!! $20!!! although if we’d driven around, way at the top of the hill, there was a $10 parking lot. oops. drinks were expensive too. we should’ve grabbed some somewhere cheaper. we had all kinds of food for the zoo trip but we used a lot of it up and then forgot to put juice boxes for sawyer in the buggy for the falls. besides the massive traffic jam that made a 1.5 hour trip 4 hours long, we barely had any problems. the boys are amazing travelers.

irene’s house rocked. really nice house and neighbourhood. and we got a CD of her hubby’s DJing. it’s reggae and i liked it 🙂 

beau’s favourite part? watching the people and the cars. LOL. he didn’t notice the animals or the falls. didn’t mean a thing to him. ah, babies.

things aren’t bad. now if only beau were an amazing sleeper…..

ah, i dream….

as long as he’s sleeping beside me, he’s happy, and i kinda want my space. i want to be able to get up to go pee without waking up dennis to make sure beau doesn’t fall off the bed (dennis is AWFUL to wake up. he jumps a mile high and thinks he’s late for work or he just doesn’t understand what you want and falls back to sleep.)
