ER

well, d managed to hurt his foot at kickboxing last night, so we went to the ER. he’s fine. they did an x-ray and didn’t see anything broken. it’s just a sprain or something, but they gave him crutches to hobble around on. while we were there, i took my opportunity to talk to a doctor. he said he wasn’t going to rule anything out 100% without an ultrasound, but from what i said and from my history, he thought it was just things growing inside me. he said my OB will probably do an ultrasound on wednesday. i didn’t realize they could do it right in their office! that’s really cool. at first, he scared the hell out of me, b/c he said it could be eptopic pregnancy, which i was worried about myself b/c the ache was mostly localized on one side, but after prodding around and talking with me, he was very confident that nothing was wrong and that waiting until wednesday for confirmation would be fine (especially since my pain never changes…it is always a very mild ache that never progresses.)

phew.

that, my friends, was our big night. i’m glad it wasn’t a busy night at the ER b/c d didn’t even have to wait to get in for his foot and i had to wait only a couple minutes after the doctor told me to register and come to see him. that gave me enough time to have a worry cry in the waiting room before seeing him. d was very strong. i’m proud of him.

i’m such a worrywart.

but nothing seems amiss and d’s foot is fine.

I’d say its nothing to worry about if it comes n goes cuz that is how mine is and I’ve read up on it. They will do a U/S just to rule out that epitopic thing or w/e it is, depending on how far along u are that is!! Glad d is alright. That is always good! And EMPTY ER’s are always the best! I hate waiting to get in there! LOL

NO WAY NO HOW is she pregnant. She just has arthritis just like everyone else over 20 in this house!! She thinks she has the worst pain in the world!! So yea…

I think she is actually jelous as well! She lost her baby in her 26th week like 16 some years ago. I feel bad but she treats me as if I’m going to go thru the same thing. And epitopic pregnancies are scary. Nething is scary when someone says that u actually might have a chance to loose the baby! I know how ur feeling! Just hope for the best. I think the pains would be worse tho, but I could (Cont)

be wrong, plus I have NO CLUE how bad ur pain is! Just hang in there… it’s only 5 days away right? Just hope for the best and stay positive and try not to think about it… keep busy as well!! Well ttyl. And yea I know.. men… lol

worry wart and pregnant! every woman goes through it! i promise you!!! my OB was childless when i was pregnant and was surprised at how neurotic and paranoid i was the whole time… then SHE got pregnant and i watched it all in reverse. man, she’s a friggin OB and she’s stressed, worried and jumpy??? if she can get jumpy, we all can. lol.

the pics are the best… esp when they get to look like those pics… and u can see the face sort of!! I can’t wait to get more… I’m sure I will!! Well talk to u later!
