babylegs baby legwarmers

i like these baby legwarmers i’m seeing on some of the cloth diapering websites. very useful (if you’re staying in the house and don’t want to mess around with pants during diaper changes.) i’ll have to keep an eye out for some or get my grandmother to knit some because i’m not paying $16 for legwarmers! or my SIL knows how to crochet and is going to be laid up for a while. she just had surgery yesterday. 🙁 she came out of it fine. 🙂 i sent a thinking of you card over to her with dennis on sunday (he saw her that day when they did whatever it is they do with the deer–i still do not want to know.)

my dog is doing nothing but barking today. he hates being outside and all he does is bark at everything. i think it’s to get revenge on us putting him out there. also, he thinks everything is out to get me b/c he doesn’t bark as much when dennis is home. he loves his mommy and wants to protect her. mommy loves him too and is hoping to soon finish off the kitchen and get him back inside. however, mommy wishes he’d shut up!

this morning, while sawyer was eating breakfast and watching sesame street, i watched the first episode of this season’s degrassi online. (on that subject, way more of my faves than i expected are fans of that show!) i am still lovin’ this high speed. i don’t know how i survived before i had it (to anyone new, not my fault–it wasn’t available.) dennis and i might get a cable to hook my laptop up to the TV and watch heros online. a friend of mine raves about it and we’d rather watch from the start than start partway through the season.

tonight, home depot, browsing at glasses, and dennis’s parents. we’re gonna get this kitchen redo done! we’ve got to get the ceiling, baseboards, and trim (we have to buy trim for the sun room) painted (cupboards aren’t going to be painted until summer though.)

dennis has a chance to fight on december 3rd but he isn’t sure if he’s going to do it. i think he is going to do it…unless it’s "tree" day for his family. we go pick trees, roast hot dogs, etc. every year at a place about 20 minutes from here. it’s huge, with animals, campfires, tents where kids decorate cookies, and of course, all kinds of different trees to choose from. they replant them all the time. they shake the tree you’ve chosen out and wrap it up in this neat machine. i don’t think he wants sawyer to miss it. big tradition.

we’ll see. i wonder if i’m allowed to go this time? and how will i get there? one guy’s sister goes every time. i could probably hitch a ride with her. if i ask my parents, then we have to take sawyer. other people take their babies but i don’t think so. the other option is my friend u.v. her hubby might want to go, so i’d ride with them for sure. they’d be top choice. the only problem is how much it costs to get in. it’s $15. they OVERCHARGE. it’s amateur. come on. oh well, we don’t mind paying it once a month, but some of our friends find it steep and might not want to go. anyway, i’m sure someone will take me with them. i’m not too worried.

we have a fake tree. i hate pine smell. ;X plus, the needles end up everywhere, blah blah blah. i dont like the smell of cinnamon either. and those brooms are everywhere around here. sawyer should be in all the traditions, don’t forget to start your own new ones. (mine is making ornaments every year) ;D my sister and i started it, but of course, you know the rest. *sigh* holidays :/

re: his hat has a velcro chin strap and the velcro piece is coming apart from the hat. so i need to sew it back on. heh.

Sawyer would be adorable in those leg warmers:) It will be nice to start a new tradition with Sawyer:)

Tree day sounds like a fun tradition lol. I think that’s awesome his family has those types of traditions. Those legwarmers are ADORABLE. I think Spencer would sit there and pull them off though. Weird… our dog barked ALL day today too. Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving.

I find it hilarious (as a Canadian) that sooo many ppl seem to love Degrassi *falls over* hehehe

I would love for just one year to have a real tree. not a prepackaged prelighted tree. I want to hassle with lights, tensil, and orniments. Cute leg warmers. RYn: knee high boots if it doesn;t have a heel it wouldn’t be so retro but still be cute.
