i have discovered the cure

yesterday, on Much Music (like MTV but canadian), they were doing an 80s and 90s feature and i saw a video. it was “friday i’m in love” by the cure. i liked it and i don’t usually go for 80s music (i’m more into 60s/70s stuff–led zeppelin, black sabbath, the doors, pink floyd…) and i rarely like slow songs. crazy stuff that.

note: my fave pink floyd song is not from their earlier stuff. has anyone ever heard high hopes? i love that song.

i think sawyer is swedish or something. some of the sounds he makes are very swedish sounding. oh well, swedish people tend to be good-looking, from what i understand, so that’s okay.

dennis loved the bra (la senza so free lite lift zebra) and matching panties i chose. i made the right choice. how could he not love the thongs? they had a little strip at the back (across the back at the top) with rhinestones on them.

anyway, i wore a top he really liked too, so he kept saying it was a happy birthday for him (even though it wasn’t his birthday anymore.) well, in relation to all that, it was a good night for me too

sawyer has been waking in the night. i’m exhausted. he’s either teething or he’s waking because he’s been practicing his walking and standing (with his walkers) and this new skill is causing night-waking, as new skills do for babies. it’s a lot to take in for a little one.

 i think sawyer was pretty overwhelmed by dennis’s sudden reappearance. he was yelling “hi” and babbling when dennis came in (he had to keep going in and out to get his stuff.) it was pretty funny. however, when dennis tried to put him to bed, i think it all caught up with him and he got pretty upset. i went in and we both put him to bed.

i’ve put up a lot of entries today. some funny stuff and an alphaphoto entry. 🙂
