worry

i can’t figure out what’s wrong with sawyer. he’s having some gross poops and he puked sometime during his nap yesterday (and then rolled over in it and slept–boy was that a stinky mess when he woke up and i went in. ugh.) i wonder if a molar or something is coming in? i gave him 20 days to adjust to cow’s milk so i can’t see it suddenly affecting him now when it didn’t affect him at all for the 20 days i was mixing it with formula and all this week since he’s had only milk (since saturday.) his cheeks are red and feel kind of like he needs moisturizer.

argh. i wish he could just tell me. is he sick? is he teething? is it the milk? is it his ears?

these moments really grate on a mommy. make her feel unworthy of her perfect little baby boy. 🙁

i woke up with a cough this morning. and a bit of sore throat/ears. i really hope i didn’t get that cold back again. i will be devastated to be that sick again.

sawyer understands and acts out full sentence requests now. 🙂 “where is your truck? go get your truck!” or “where is your milk? go get your milk?” and things along those lines. he seems to understand “are you hungry?” as well. he says “hi da” when dennis comes home and “hi ma” when i do. he knows when i say “who’s at the door?” that daddy is home and gets excited. he’s still loving the word “uh oh” too.

today, i almost had a heart attack. sawyer was at the bottom of the stairs getting into this big bag of clothes (to be given back to dennis’s sister) and the next thing i know, i don’t hear him. stupidly, i stand at the bottom of the stairs trying to find him near the bag. duh. my baby’s missing!! i look up and there he is almost in our bedroom…at the top! with the cat. at least she moved and didn’t stay where she was, which would spell sure disaster. the boy is quick! anyway, i followed him up, let him look around (this is daddy’s fault for letting him come up to see me the other day), and took him back down. daddy is getting a baby gate after work for the stairs.

some days, having a baby is about all my heart can take.

LOL. he’s on my lap playing with the phone right now. he “dialed” some numbers, put it to his ear and said “hi da.” so cute!! now bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb nb

well. there you go. from the mouths of babes.

aww he sounds so darn cute! Being a mother does have its heart aches! Our lil dare devils will keep doing this to us for the rest of our lives! 🙂

I hate it when they’re sick and you have no idea what’s wrong 🙁 I agree–they should give out heart medication when you have a baby LOL

I hope Sawyer feels okay. Hayden gets a really bad rash and sometimes a fever when she teeths, so maybe that’s it? Sawyer is so smart, and so big. I can’t imagine Hayden doing those things. She STILL won’t say “ma-ma”

lol. cute kid… “Hi da!” hopefully he’s just teething and not too sick. Cameron gets like that when he’s teeting and kim puts him on Soy milk for that period so that the milk doesn’t further upset his bum/stomach.

Poor little dude! Hope he feels better! He’s getting so big and doing so much!

I hope your Sawyer gets better and his teething doesn’t last to long. Is Sawyer getting teeth. I wonder why you have never been charged by PayPal. I have heard that if you get money put into PayPal there is some kind of fee. I wonder why your bank charges you to use PayPal. How often do you get charged a fee to use PayPal with your bank? I know PayPal is the members account. Doesn’t PayPaland the bank the member uses both know the info in the PayPal account? It’s ok you don’t know how credit cards work with E Bay. I figured since you brought it up you might know.

lol too cute. now that the first long tiring year is over, things will start to get even MORE fun, just like that. how awesome 🙂 i thought you were gonna say he was in the bag and i was like AHH! exactly. i hope you aren’t getting sick and that sawyer gets well fast. no more sick babies, right?

My son has learned to climb stairs as well and it scares the hell out of me. lol RYN: You have a good point but I think the point he was trying to make was that she is very pretentious and has no real basis for her parenting “techniques”. He does offer some form of solution in that control is not necessarily the way to go about it and that children generally act out when their needs are not…

…met and sometimes they are just trying to push limits in order to better understand their world.

What do you mean banks charge fees for transactions? Do you mean you get charged each time you buy something if you use your ATM card if you have one or you get charged each time you write a check if you do that. I have never been charged anything in the past couple years with the bank I use. I guess you are right that it makes sense that the bank and PayPal would have to know the bank info. Don’t know how I brought up credit card for E Bay, but that is ok. Unless you mean when I mentioned I don’t like PayPal than you mentioned E Bay lets ppl use credit card. Than yes I did explain one reason why I don’t use E Bay

“Hi da” Oh how cute is that!

Sounds like it might be his teeth. It’s great that he’s becoming more independent and understanding more of mom and dad’s requests! Wait until he’s walking and you ask him to bring you your keys when you in a hurry lol. It’s wonderful 😛

TJ had the flu last week, and it sounds just like that. They told me the diahrea could last up to ten days. Hang in there. You are a wondeful mommy. :O) Sawyer is blessed to have you!

January 24, 2007

I hope Sawyer feels better soon. Maybe teething? Sounds like it, with the cheeks and poops… You’re a perfect mommy for Sawyer, so stop being silly 😉 I had the missing baby the other day, too! I left him in the living room, walked to the kitchen and back to the living room and he was gone! I had actually walked right past him, climbing up the stairs. EEP!!

Aw!!

January 25, 2007

I’m not comparing my dog to Sawyer but whenever Rudy (my dog) gets sick it’s so hard to tell what the problem really is. Don’t you just wish everyone could talk especially the real innocent like babies and dogs? I know, I know…..my dog is like my baby. I cannot imagine when I start having kids….I’ll be all wrapped in ’em. Haha have all the fun with Sawyer and thank goodness for the gate!

January 25, 2007

maybe he is just getting a cold/flu i couldnt see it being the milk if its been 20 days but who knows. thats the only bad part they cant tell us anything 🙁
