Sudoku

Caught on the Sudoku craze lately. J and I happened to be reading the newspaper Today when we stumbled across the puzzle and began doing it. Liked the game so much that we even bought a little Sudoku puzzle book. It’s with me now but sad to say, I havent start on any puzzle yet due to the induction programme and heavy workload after that….

Ok, for those who r clueless abt Sudoku, it’s basically a puzzle based on a square grid, typically 9 squares by 9, giving 81 squares in all. The puzzle is further divided into 9 boxes, each a square measuring 3 squares by 3 squares. There will be some given numbers inside some squares. To complete the puzzle, u need to insert in the missing numbers so that each row, column and 3 times 3 square contains numbers 1 to 9, without repeating itself. Sounds complicated? Actually it’s not lah. Ok for those who r still clueless, go get a copy of Today newspaper and find the puzzle.

Of late, there has been concern over the poly girl sex video issue. Hmm, shall not go into detail here but I did a check online last nite and found that the topic was really hot in the Internet. Although some websites had already removed the video, I actually found one which still featured the link. Almost downloaded the file coz I cldnt understand the big hooha over the whole issue and wanted to see what it was all abt. But I didnt. Think there’s nothing much abt it anyway, haha.

Cldnt contact J for the past 2 nights. Called his no. but was diverted to voicemail. Tried to guess what happened and the only not-so-serious scenario was he had lost his hp in China. Msged his sis to ask if he called back home lately but she replied no, and she didnt know anything abt it.

Was relieved when he finally called this morning. Well, he bought a SIM card in China and is using it instead of his Sg SIM card becoz it is much cheaper. Forgot to get his no. frm him. Ouch. So now I hv to wait for him to call. Oh he mentioned he did email me the no. to my office email but turned out I didnt read it as I was on course on Thur and Fri.

Now that he has a China number, I think I can use my international calling card. Checked out the rate online and realised that it’s quite cheap. I used to use the card to call him when he was studying in USA few yrs back.

Got an interview this coming Wed. Wish me luck. Yet to find out abt the exact job scope. I didnt apply for this post; I applied for another actually but the lady called to inform it was filled and asked if I was interested to consider this current post. Well, if the job scope suits me and if the salary is not bad, I’ll put up my hands n feet to grab it. It’s not that I dislike my current job. In fact, I like the ppl I’m working with but I know I hv to plan ahead. If I’m going to get married soon, as in customary marriage and then live together with J, then I dont think I’ll stay on in the job becoz I dont want to be working shifts.

Oh. My major project was finally over. The event was on 19 Feb and was glad that everything went smoothly. Heard that the Guest-of-Honour was pleased too, whether it’s true or not, I’m not sure, haha. But boss msged me in the evening, asking me to watch the news and mentioned there was good media coverage. Also said I shd be proud of it since it was my event.
