Yup, things are moving finally.

Side-track: is this font size too small?

We finally got a date for our tea ceremony. It will be in end Jan. There wasnt much choice; the other date was in May/ Jun which we found to be rather late. We also checked with the person if we need to find an auspicious date for our wedding banquet as we intend to hold it another day. Was glad that she said no.

I sprang into action immediately and contacted the catering depts in our shortlisted hotels to check out the dates and more details. We went to 2 of them to view the location and discussion with the coordinator. I think right now, we have more of less decided on which hotel and date (end Mar) but am still waiting for the coordinator to re-draft the confirmation letter.

Went for my first bridal fitting yesterday. Tried on various designs and cuttings to see which is more suitable for me. Frankly speaking, I dun really have a good idea as to what I really want but I was really glad that the designer was ard. Was pleasantly surprised to know that she is the head designer at the shop =) She came up with some proposals for the design and I think it will look great. She took my measurements – gosh, looks like I have to work my tummy off! Well, I have a month to do that coz my next appt will be in early Nov.

I signed up for a kickboxing class but was informed that that the commencement date was postponed to end Oct. Looks like I need to find other ways of working out.

Sometimes I wish J will be more involved in our wedding preparations but he doesnt seem so. He’s the sort who prefers not to do anything. No need to find bridal, no need to have tea ceremony and banquet. Well, I do prefer not to do anything too. Just relax and have everything simple. But now that we have to have a banquet and everything else, means we simply have to get into action. Sigh. Dont really like it when he dont seem to contribute any ideas or what.
