have you seen me lately

i found this in someone’s diary. i can’t for the life of me remember who because i had saved it and forgot to use it at the time. so, whoever wrote this, thank you. thanks a lot.

When someone tells you you’re beautiful, what are they really looking at? The personality of the person, or their physical? I’ll let you know this right now…I’m not beautiful. Well to me I’m not. To my parents, friends and everyone who knows me, I am this bright light. But to me, I’m a shy woman, who has a hard time speaking about emotions, who is extremely hard on herself, and has a silly view of the word love. But you couldn’t tell that from the outside. On the outside, I’m animated, have an awesome sense of humor, is extremely intelligent, and probably a million and one interests. Everything I’m so truly proud of. That’s on the outside though, and only a select few has seen the inside.
